Licensing rights for content in SA

Will Pepsi, Coke and Mt. Dew still be in the SA? I would think, with virtually no knowledge on the subject, that rights would need to be purchased to use Copy written names and logos, right?

If that is the case, do you suppose that the rights to use franchised material have been purchased and we will still see 'Coke' and 'Pepsi' in the game? Or will we all be surviving off of 'Soda' or 'Pop'?

Im thinking we may just see it changed over to Generic names and items. God knows how much I loved throwing whisky bottles of Jack and finding a rare mountain dew, but copyright laws are....very....difficult these days...imo

A: None of them have returned our calls so I doubt we will see them in game despite our best efforts, unfortunately. We tried pretty hard on this one. It was a tremendous fail, we didn't even get any call backs or replies to emails. I was really hoping we could get something going with Heinz at least.

With coke and pepsi paying millions for product placement in tv shows and movies seems kinda stupid for them to ignore a game where thousands of people play every day and even more watch on youtube. Contact the folks at Snapple I'm sure they wouldn't ignore you. Snapple is a better product anyway.
