itamar (DayZ) 13 Posted June 8, 2013 I don't understand. If i buy the standalone alpha then ill have to buy beta when it will be out? What r alpha and beta and the rest??
Beck (DayZ) 1768 Posted June 8, 2013 (edited) You by the DayZ stand alone in alpha, you get it at a reduced price, and the beta/final product are like (free) updates for you. Edited June 8, 2013 by Beck
Rage VG 4033 Posted June 8, 2013 The alpha will turn into the Beta, and the beta will turn into the full game. Buying in at any point will give you access to the full game at the end. Alpha will be cheaper than beta, and beta will be cheaper than full.
PaxC4T 159 Posted June 8, 2013 They are development periods. in which people give suggestions, report bugs and all that.
DemonGroover 8836 Posted June 8, 2013 Wot they said. You pay once depending at what stage of development you hand over your Robbie Deniro. It generally gets more expensive the later you jump in. Cheap for alpha, more expensive for the full retail release. My advice if you are a fan of the mod - get in early.
