I need to ask something.

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm new to the forums. ( Not to the mod. I've been playing for 6 months now. )

And this might seem confusing but...

Is it possible to play using Steam? yet I have a Retail version of Arma 2 and OA?

And if so Could I still play it using DayZ Commander?

( Sorry for the mistakes I'm from asia. Not my 1st language. )

yes it is possible to use the steam overlay while playing

simply check the box in dayz commander

but it probably wont count as game time

also you can use your retai cd key to addthe game to your steam library

As said before. Go to Dayz commander and under options select "play through steam"

Go to your library and click '+ add a game...', 'activate a product on Steam' and punch in your CD key.

Works for some games, but not all. Worth a try at least!

Open Steam, click on Games on the menubar at the top of the window, cick on Add a Non-Steam Game To Library and then browse to the file you want.
