An abandoned New York map would make me abandon hope for more than 5 FPS! Too funny.

I'd like to see Vietnam style map, like Lingor just less treeless areas, roads, and one big island.

Yeah, I know New York would be laggy. But it's about ideas now, not about performance :P.

Anyways, Vietnam would be cool!

New york sounds great, some sort of built up urban area like Taviana :)

Make it look like something from I am Legend, with some underground metros and blocked roads etc

mwpjyq.jpg

or something like Chernobyl Diaries, include some nasty wildlife that roam at nights or when it starts to get dark

A map 10-20 times the size of Chernarus with lakes, rivers, lush forests, snow capped mountains, huge expanses of countryside dotted with towns and villages and the occasional large city with a mixture of old and new architecture, road and rail networks, a long varied coastline with beaches, cliffs, port towns and summer resorts. all beautifully blended into one believable immersive world where you can lose yourself for weeks surviving off the land or scavenge the cities with infected and bandits around every corner...

This is purely what we would like to see, not what is possible.

Having played a few different ones, I like Taviana the best. It's big and great for vehicles, which is one of the most enjoyable parts of the game for me.

In 10 years time i would like to see a map of the world. That would amaze me. just maybe 1 millionth the size.

Taviana seems to really tick a lot of boxes for players. IT's a nice mix of urban and rural spaces, hills, forests and water.

Overall I'm more for dotted villages throughout the map rather than a huge city.

A city the size of Sabina (on the Taviana map) would be plenty if there were variety in the buildings and all could be entered.

A cold, dreary place like Namalsk is also nice. I abandoned that map once the sci-fi stalker things and blowouts were introduced.

I'd like to see a map based around a huge city.

I'm kinda pointing towards the begining of The Walking Dead, when Rick gets stuck in the tank.

I'd like to see Taviana make a return on the SA. Something like Atlanta in The Walking Dead would be cool, location where the military attempted to hold out but failed. I like the idea of Chernobyl, zombies, mutant zombies, mutants, etc..

What about somewhere like Rio in Brazil? The infection ripped through the slums spreading into the city, and the map can could include some jungle here and there, would be fun.

I think Chernobyl and Pripyat would be in the same map. I dont think it would be a good place for a zombie game though because it is abandoned and no one lives there before zombies, so it wouldnt really make sense.

As others have said, Urban maps and Taviana would be really nice.

I'd prefer the South Eastern North American country side, and I think North Carolina would suit that best. Mountain ranges, mild climate, farms and small towns dotted around larger cities. The map would be placed in the foothills/Piedmont.
