Key was stolen!

Recommended Posts

so a while ago I found a keylogging virus on my computer and after I get rid of the damn thing, when I go to attempt to play on DayZ, I get "CD Key in use" :( :( :(

Is there any possible way I can replace or boot this scum?!

Nope. You can't just mystically make him forget your CD-key.

You'll have to buy another one.

Like Rage said, you're fucked if you can't afford another copy.

Better wait for the SA. :)

Since your key is showing in use you will need another copy of the game as it will eventually be global banned. Make sure to remove any dodgy software from your computer before getting another copy of the game as this will repeat itself. You can also open a ticket with Battleye to see if they will give you another copy. If you cheated, they will know and have proof so it will not be worth your time, if not here is the link http://www.battleye.com/support.html.

EDIT: I have also noted that your exact username is registered on quite a few hack forums, safe to assume this is self inflicted. You should take better care of your games in the future.

The amount of people silly enough to do this amazes me. A mod will be here shortly, probably ban OP, and lock thread.

Well I'm not your average high-horse coder and I do know my way around but some things are just not that easy to verify.I do take percaution sir, thanks for the feedback anyway.

"Downloading. Talk to your parents before you open an email attachment or download software. Attachments sometimes contain viruses. Never open an attachment from someone you don’t know."I reccomend reading this. Internet safety, yo. It's cool!http://www.nypl.org/...net-safety-tips

Seriously...? There's this thing called java, and I believe a certain someone on a certain website modified a object that injected a code that was purposely made to go into one area and snatch the Key, therefore your average PRO anti-virus software cannnot verify it as a "keylogger".

The amount of people silly enough to do this amazes me. A mod will be here shortly, probably ban OP, and lock thread.

What do you mean? Why would I exactly be banned if I may ask?

My point being that this is what happens when you try and hack.
