ARMA2OA Beta 102285 or any beta installer issue

So, I recently transfered Arma2files onto my computer from my friends. It was an older version so I update it. DayZ mod is updated and everything its just the Arma 2 OA beta,

Whenever I try and start it says ARMA 2 OA is not installed on your computer or is corrupted or something like that.

Any fixes? I think if someone uploads the files that the installer would have originally installed on my computer, that would be fine.

you need to install the game not copy the files you are missing the registry entries for it

Actually -- you CAN simply copy the physical files onto a new computer. But you MUST 'verify integrity of game' cache through Steam.

(Right click the game > Proper ties > Files)

that means it was originally installed from another source as steam don't use installers and no where did he say steam versions and if it was gog or other digital downloads the installer files would be there

so must be a disk version
