badpaint@hotmail.com 12 Posted June 1, 2013 (edited) -New to Dayz?-Need Someone to play with?-Do you look like this in-game?http://2.bp.blogspot.../s400/Bambi.jpgOr even like this?http://images2.wikia...2/Bambi2012.jpgIf you match the following description then you are classified as what the community calls a Bambi. This is a term known to describe new players and the unarmed or inexperienced. Being a Bambi should not really be the preferred role of any body playing dayz as it is more of a helpless state of being (practically a zombie but do less damage-_-). Well enough of the chatter, I am opening a Bambi help canter in which new players or anybody really wanting to learn new things can come hang out and learn together while bonding as a community. Note: We don't care which side your on hero bandit or in-between all are welcome, if you are new you must decide your role and we will do our best to accommodate your needs and make you Chernarus ready (and yes right now until we get more staff we will only be operating on chernarus). Here are just a small list of things we can teach you:-Zombie situations-Player situation-How to find vehicles-How to play at night time-Power Looting-Learning the map and much much more!!!HERE IS HOW TO CONTACT ME SKYPE: LIMITIDEDITIONTS: WILL BE COMING SOONhttp://soundfxnow.co...fx/porkypig.jpg Edited June 1, 2013 by Guhnfights1

Guest Posted June 1, 2013 Firstly this should be in clan recruitmentSecondly I haven't heard the term "bambi" in about 4 weeks here. And I visit pretty regularlyThridly comic sans is over rated
herrjon 478 Posted June 1, 2013 Interesting approach. Not sure exactly what your methods are, but TMW has a training for new players we call Chenarus 101; we do it on a locked private hive so we can control the PvP situation, but I've had success just playing with new people on regular servers. (he may die though) A teamspeak server would be best though if you have a number of people that just want to stop by and learn a bit, regardless of method approach.@Darryl, I believe this is in the proper location, as he's not directly recruiting for a long-term clan, just offering in-game help to new players. However, he does have this thread in Survivor HQ as well, which does violate cross posting. OP I suggest you edit your other thread and link it to this one, as to keep all discussion in one place. Elias (DayZ) 57 Posted June 1, 2013 I really like your initiative, teaching new players how to survive. There are a lot of new players who need someone to show them how it's done. So, kudo's to that. But I'll have to say; I don't like the term 'bambi'. It makes you sound superiour to new players. They are not helpless baby's. It's just like the term 'carebears' which used to fill this forums.Or 'fanboy', don't like that one either.I'm sure you mean well, so don't worry about it too much. philbottle 430 Posted June 1, 2013 In a real life situation I don't think I'd be referring to other survivors as bambis... no more hierarchy guys unless we allow it to happen again.no gods and no masters innit :D
