Hey again,

Now i cant join any official servers again, and I think this problem has been around for some time since i havent played on any official servers for some time :).

I have made an issue on CBL:

Might as well give up on any server running the CBL, The stupid useless vigilante list was abandoned with all bans left permanent.

The CBL has done more harm than any scripter ever did to you :( scripts were gone if you left the server or the server was reset, CBL does permanent damage.

I dont know what has happened :/. I tried joining a official server today, and i cant. Thats all i know :(.

I know i never hacked, or used anything that wasent allowed.

So theres not much to specify :/

My brother also got this ban - which hasent been resolved either. CBL is 100% wrong in both bans.

What is the actual error message or ban message when you join the servers ?

Every connection you make is logged so you will see an error followed by some numbers or a code, use print screen if you can't write it down quick enough.

Find the error will get you an acurate answer :)

I tried to join the Midnight crew DayZ and got the following message:

No entry 'bin\config.bin/cfgcVehicles/land_A_Tent.scope

I looked for the error message on google, and found out that you had to take my add-on folder from my arma 2 folder and copy it into your arma 2 co folder.

I did that, and then i tried to join the Midnight crew DayZ and then got this message

"You were kicked of the game. (BattleEye: Admin Ban (seen by JM))"

I then thought maybe i was banned on the midnight server due to a old CBL database (For some reason i was banned a previous time again for no reason (the ban was lifted, after being looked through by a admin*))

I then tried to join a server in breaking point

Server EU 44

And again i got the message

I hope this will help solving the problem. Im getting pretty tired of not playing dayz :D

Hello there

If you are on the CBL your best option is to contact the admin of the server you wish to join and give him the relevant info, that way he/she can decide whether to take you off the blacklist. if you're legit the admin should have no issue.

Why should he have to appeal the ban on your forum ? You have zero evidence he's done anything wrong so what right do you have asking him to appeal ?

Sounds to me like you just want people to register so your forum looks popular, Is your forum so empty you have to resort to cheap tactics like this :lol:

Nothing to do with boosting forum user numbers. It is so we can have a clear digital paper trail of who was banned, why they are appealing and why a ban was removed or kept in place. Alot easier keeping that all in one location than having to refer to numerous forums. If you don't like it, tough.

But that's the thing ... It didn't work and was abandoned after thousands were added to it, It became clear that it was catching far too many innocents and now all of them are trapped.

The script kiddies get CD keys for next to nothing or by fooling others into downloading malicious .exe files, fresh key stolen and used then the scripters continue, your average gamer then has to pay full price for a key because they don't lurk in hackers forums to get a cheap key.

The CBL solved nothing, got ditched but admins still use it and it continues now to only do harm to innocent players.

You are right about the fact that WE don't have any evidence of him using hacks or whatever.. but he's the 1 that wants to play, we're merely giving him the option to do so on OUR server. We didn't create the CBL, we're just using it as another means of getting rid of hackers... He definately did something wrong to get on the CBL in the first place...

Not necessarily, It was abused and butthurt admins abused their positions by banning players they didn't like, some servers don't allow PvP so they ban for it, killing another player does not make him a script kiddie.

Seriously check what happend and read all the posts about the CBL and the appeals, It has trapped far too many innocent people.

BE bans people and does a good job at it :) If his key is good then he should be allowed to play.

Like said before, for our own reference, he can register on our forum and we'll be happy to lift his ban. We won't lift it just cause he made a post on the DayZ forum. We'd rather have 100 innoncent players banned of our servers then getting 100 more hackers on there who are banned legitemately through the CBL. Don't hate the players, hate the system ;)

Ps. I never said he scripted or cheated.

You're basicly saying, remove the CBL banlist (thus letting all the legitemately banned hackers free to get on your server) and play on? Unfortunately, in your words, we do accept collateral damage. We didn't create DayZ, we run a server. We didn't create the anti-cheat nor did we create any anti cheating tools out there. It's not our fault the CBL project was abandoned and this mod is overrun by cheaters. We do what we need to do to protect our legit player base. If this includes OP as well he can, again, appeal his CBL on OUR forum and he will be removed. Simple as that.

It doesn't work, it never did and was abandoned, i also never said it was your fault but it is blocking innocent people and in my view that isn't acceptable.

Hundreds of people have paid good money for a game they can't use cause of some piss poor judgement by a vigilante team.

The scipters can buy a new key for less than $1, they won't quit because you have one of many old keys blocked, your CBL isn't updated so you fail to catch scripters but keep legit players trapped.

Its don't hate the player, hate the game but OP I think its time to cut your losses and find a different server. It seems you aren't going to be able to reason with this group of admins unless you play by their rules and join their forums
