    What is bis_greetedpeople, and is it a sign of a scripter?

    I have seen this on a number of people before on our server including myself, My conclusion was it wasn't a hack as it just seemed to common place. The only scenario that it could be is a hacker is getting this code to run on everyone in the server.

    Nothing to do with boosting forum user numbers. It is so we can have a clear digital paper trail of who was banned, why they are appealing and why a ban was removed or kept in place. Alot easier keeping that all in one location than having to refer to numerous forums. If you don't like it, tough.

    Ours was enableradio false; I changed it to enableradio true; We also have vonid=1 enabled in the config and still no joy on our server.

    We've got the same issue on our server and the VonID=1 doesn't appear to work, which therefore led me to the conclusion that the server is pointing to a different difficulty config file. If I find out that is the case then its another indication that our already muppetry server hosts are a bunch of right klaxons.

    I've seen them along with a multitude of others, like bis_greetedbyevil. My view at the moment is nothing to worry about, Certainly googling doesn't show anything up to indicate that they are used by hackers.

    DayZ server administration guide

    The logs are generated from the battleye filters, install the latest battleye filters from the stick at the top of server general. Try and keep these filters up to date as they are very good at stopping are large percentage of the scum. Rob

    You want to use the battleye filters to auto kick for non legitimate objects. Install the latest filters as listed in a sticky at the top of server general.     New Hack Type

    I've seen the grey screen with no quitting before. I found when you press escape and that message comes up, the hack slays you and hides your body. Been around for ages, just haven't seen it in a while, much like the instant slay everyone hack.

    #44 error was a line in the scripts.txt that I removed, can't recall which one. If i'm right #44 refers to the line number in the filter.

  13. Our server over the past week or so seems to have gone on a random reboot cycle. Our server is a hosted server by gaming deluxe, as far as they are aware the server isn't rebooting :S.
