Hideouts (modification of existing structures)

Recommended Posts

Aside from creating new structures (houses, etc) what about modifying existing buildings?

For example, you know those Air Vents on top of the hospital? what if someone could construct a entrance to a hideout from that - allowing entrance into a sealed off second floor?

how about converting a vat to a hidden chopper pad?

all the normal entrances of that abandon home are inexcessable but you can crawn through the window in the back yard.

I suppose this really depends on how the map is created and what it takes to revise or overwrite it.

would definitely add variety and could give each building a unique look and feel. Would be really cool to see but due to the shear complexity of it I doubt it will be added.

I was thinking more in lines with the 1960's version of the entrance to the BATCAVE. You'd drive up to a roadblock/bushes and an action would become available for them to "swing aside" - and then you drive into a subterranian hideout.

i love this idea way more than the underground bases thing. with the shear ammount of enterable buildings your clan or whatever could like lockdown an entire appartment building to use as a base of opperations. this would add so much depth to the game its not even funny. sadly technical limitations... =/
