Police Station Project by Grimzentide

Recommended Posts

Hey there.

Just to let you know of some great work being done by Grimzentide in regards to a police station he is creating.

I myself would love such a structure in DayZ.

Anyone else producing work like this?

Yep he certainly has done a great job and he states that once finished it will be open source for everyone to use.

Looks very nice. It'd be interesting to see if this makes it in game.

A bit of constructive criticism here.

That building looks bigger than anything in Chernarus.

It needs to be a much smaller, architecturally appropriate building that fits the environment. This precinct is just oversized.

I'd like to keep up the excellent level of research already done on-site by BI staff. Perhaps they can get reference photos of actual police buildings.

Hopefully without getting arrested again.

Yeah it does look big. Perhaps it would need a special precinct rather than just plonking it down in Cherno somewhere. Instead of another military base and barracks perhaps a police headquarters.

Or we could put it in seattle? One may dream....

Due to the way arma sounds work, such a big building would be impossible to stealth in without alerting every nearby player and zed. If that can be rectified though, I'd love it. The model is already sexy as fuck.

Agree, it looks like a police building from a blcok in new York both the size and architectural style is wrong for the map. the idea is good though.

I would expect it to look more like this:

The sources I am using are from a particular building in Moscow that I found when I lived there. I do agree about the size though.

Love it. Love it very much.

I think it would sit perfect on Taviana. :D
