Remove the sidestep animation

Recommended Posts

What the hell is up with that weird sidestep animation? What triggers it, and why is it there? Every now and then I'll be in a gunfight, and for a second my character decides to stop firing and slowly sidesteps off a building or into enemy gunfire. It should be removed.

I've learnt to be able to control it and do it when I want.

It's something to do with moving forward, mainly sprinting, and then pressing A at the correct moment.

I've tried to figure out what actually triggers it but couldn't. I'll try your suggestion. I still think it's completely unnecessary.

It's a part of arma itself, I don't think it can be disabled.

If you can add animations like rolls, surely you can remove them also.

I could never figure out how to do it but always triggered it by accident. I think you may very well be a legend.
