RooBurger 285 Posted May 11, 2013 What the hell is up with that weird sidestep animation? What triggers it, and why is it there? Every now and then I'll be in a gunfight, and for a second my character decides to stop firing and slowly sidesteps off a building or into enemy gunfire. It should be removed. Inception. 9443 Posted May 11, 2013 I've learnt to be able to control it and do it when I want. It's something to do with moving forward, mainly sprinting, and then pressing A at the correct moment.
RooBurger 285 Posted May 11, 2013 I've tried to figure out what actually triggers it but couldn't. I'll try your suggestion. I still think it's completely unnecessary.

burritoman259 593 Posted May 11, 2013 I still think it's completely unnecessary. It's a part of arma itself, I don't think it can be disabled.
RooBurger 285 Posted May 11, 2013 If you can add animations like rolls, surely you can remove them also.
