Tranquilizer Guns

Was thinking the other day how can a heroes take people out safely and still keep there humanity up when all of a sudden the tranquilizer gun popped into my head, being able to knock people out for a few seconds (not too sure what would be a good time 10 seconds maybe?) so that you can run around them or loot a building without the threat of a fresh spawn bandit picking you off.

I can already see this being used to troll or grief so making it so that only heroes can use the weapon would be a must! Maybe only heroes can craft them? or maybe they can only craft the ammo for the weapon? I don't know its just an idea as it seems heroes don't get a choice its either trust someone and get stabbed in the back (which happens alot!) or shoot them straight up and lose humanity.

Be nice to see what people think about the idea.

Would people really be carrying around tranquilizer guns to "keep their humanity up"?

I don't think so, they'd just shoot you dead with their normal rifles if you posed a threat to life and limb.

Nah, can't say I want to see tranquilizer guns.

Pretty much a one hit kill for any bandit, shoot the target with the tranquilizer then unload a clip into his unconscious body.
