CD key question

Hi I am new to DayZ and was recently playing DayZ the server I was on was aprreantly being hacked me a unknown player and then I was kicked from the game after all other players where kicked. Then after that my DayZ crashed and when I whent back on to play the game I had a error message telling me my CD key was bad. What do do I do? DO I have to buy the game again? make a new steam acc and buy the game again? or what?

Bad CD-Key means your CD-Key is invalid, If you were playing moments before this happened it means that it was changed from your Key to a bunch of 0s. However I don't believe it's possible for someone to simply remotely do this to you. You can reinstall your game as an admin to get your old CD-key back, but if it's stolen it'll most likely be global banned soon. If you're gonna buy a new copy, do so on a new account.

Your CD-key should be fine. See the first error listed there and try out all the fixes if needed.
