Hello, just came through my mind: why couldnt we screenshot in-game without any special program

It would be cool if devs could put it in the game, I guess its not a big deal and it makes taking screenshots very much easier.

Probably not at the top of the devs list of things to do at this moment. But definately a good thing to mention!

it would be nice if they would implement some sort of camera that can be used as a substitute for Binocs and also has the ability to take screenshots.

hey someone wants to record, I personally dont want to record gigabytes of dayz, but just screeshot the moments I want, simple as that

Not everyone's computer is good enough to play and record DayZ. I can just barely play record and play DayZ and I get about 10-15 fps when I do.

And OP, if you use steam you can take screen shots with F12. If you're using DayZ commander though you will have to use a third party program. It would be nice for the devs to add the ability for us to take screen shots but it shouldn't be a priority.

i like the camera idea, maybe it could have a zoom feature and gets rid of the ui when taking pictures.

It will 100% be in the standalone.

The standalone is released through Steam which has a built-in screen capture tool.

Not sure if it will be easily implementable for the mod though, although there are plenty tools out there that can do it for you.

The default screenshot key for ANY Steam game is F12. Use that.

Besides, I don't think it's possible to mod in a screenshot function, to allow the engine to create rendered files and save them onto your computer.
