Okay, well me and my friends where playing DayZ on 184.173.146.62:3221 The admin's friends got on my nerves and could not read so I called him an idiot because I was keep on saying I killed in self defense. Then the admin kicked me for KILLING his friends. Then when I joined back he banned me because I was being disrespectful when they called the names/disrespected first. Then my friend was banned for killing a new spawn, I called him out that he did not kill a new spawn and this was my NEW ban message. Battleye: admin ban (He was not) anyways, he has been a long time friend, you have NOT))

Even though its a private hive, you are still representing the DayZ mod. If you want to have a server and be an ass on it, then lock the server. Abusive admins are probably the 2nd worse problems of DayZ, right behind scripters.

Also, if calling someone am idiot is bad language to you, you need to realize you're playing a M rated game. I hate servers that censor language, this isn't a family friendly mod, it's M rated for fucks sake.

Cheers! As do you sir :-) Though abuse has limits. People get of with warnings first, they dont abide the rules after being warned they will be removed. Only thing that really pisses me off straight away is racism. We have zero tolerance for racist pricks.

Unfortunately, abusive admins exist in both private, and official, servers.

They seem to be a rare occurrence, at least from what I've seen throughout my long time as a DayZ player.

I was recently banned from the VigilantAddiction servers for a disagreement with their staff on forums.

I'm not entirely certain if such actions are allowable on official servers, but as they're paying for it, I presume it is.

We played on a few servers, where admins would be cheating and crap, never got banned, and what could we really do had we been banned. But there are several servers with good admins, just gotta find the right one and you will be good to go :) Hope you have better luck in the next server you play in!

Rule #2, if it's really that bad, pack your bags and find another server, there are hundreds out there, most with pretty good admins.
