WHITELISTING ... easier way?

Recommended Posts

Hi, guys.. my server has been running since start of november and moved up the rankings but with that came the bad sort of players. (had a group with a cheater that got globalled 3 times)

I decided to switch from vilayer public hive to our own private hive and whitelist the server and as you can see in my sig the playercount/ranking has suffered.

I have been adding people by downloading the whitelister console log and basically copy guid from that, paste into whitelist.txt, copy the player name, paste next to guid in whitelist.txt but it is a pain in the arse task at the moment.

Gotcha shows a player history but only players who have successfully connected/played so obviously they are whitelisted anyway.

Any easier way of doing it or do I have to pain myself c+p on friday nights? :P

its copy and paste friday times mate.. if you do it by mysql or file you still have to put the guids in yourself.. you can turn the whitelist off for a couple of weeks with gotcha running add all the people who join and who are not hackers obv to the gotcha whitelister after said weeks then export the list into the vilayer whitelist file and turn it back on... or you can turn on the sql and write a php code on your website to insert people guids as they sign up so then they are putting there own guids in the whitelist
