I do not believe they include the stats of Private Hives. Can anybody confirm this?

Impossible to tell the true numbers, Private servers don't get recorded

Erm no :P A lot of the Arma 2 players hate Dayz for the trouble it's brought them with script kiddies

I don't think so. All they would have to do is log each unique CD key when it joined a public server.
