The Horde

It took me a little while, but I have come up with an idea. What if DayZ added a feature that added hordes of zombies, not 30-40 but about 100-200 that would move about the map together, and provide a real challenge for players who make the mistake of shooting a bullet near them. The horde can also branch apart, but come back together soon. It isn't that good of an idea, but I hope you guys like it! :D

This has been suggested a lot. No hard feelings. Just use the advanced search option in the future to make sure no one else has had the idea.

Welcome to the forums.

Hopefully hordes, or large groups at least, are an addition to Standalone. If not on release later on. Zombie numbers are being increased significantly anyway.

dean said the new client-server architecture and zombie spawning being controlled by the server means they can do things like roaming herds and stuff like that. Pretty sure its already planned.
