I'm somewhat new to the DayZ game, but I'm enjoying it a lot. Me and some friends have opened up a server for the public to check out. Please keep in mind that we are still testing out scripts, and some things may come and go over the next few weeks/months, but I hope that doesn't stop you from checking us out - Invite some friends too!

Not sure if it matters, but I use DayZ Commander to located the server. Search the below title, should take you straight there.

Some things to note:

~ 50 slots open.

~ Active AI, that roams around; yea they move around and shoot at you and stuff.

~ server up 24/7 ( 3 hour cycle'd reboot with several warnings.)

~ Chuck Norris broke a mirror once by only looking into it. ( True story )

~ 24-hour day ( may change in near future )

~ Multiple vehicles, aircraft, civilian/military. Current limit is 400 I think. ( still playing around with what to keep )

~ Debug menu

~ did I mention Zombies?

~ Betty White is cool.

~ I was able to shoot a chicken the other day, but died shortly afterwards. Zombies.

~ A lot of fun! if enough people become some regular players, I was hoping to do some free-for-all match's. Some rewards could be custom load-outs, skins, weapons, ect. Won't know till we get to that point, and discuss with each other on what to do.

But that would take you, the reader, to come over and check out the new server.

There are several active admins on the server. Some custom load-out's may be possible for regular players. (No promises though )

Most won't give you a second look though, you're new here and your only 1 post is to advertise your server.

Good luck to you and also props for adding contact info, I would never settle on a server where there was no contact info.

I am sure these guys are cool, but I do feel a duty to say that I feel rather suspicious that this is his first post, advertising a server. To anyone that does not know, it is possible for people to steal your key just by joining their server, so join unknown servers with caution. Once again, I am sure these guys are cool, just a fair warning

No it's not possible, Show me proof :P

I ran a server for months and the only info you see on players are their IP address and GUID, Nothing that could steal your key.

I'm sorry that I came off as suspicious. Didn't intend on that. just that we've had the server up and running now for a few weeks, new to it all sort of. Was tired of the same old 3 faces, lol. Was hoping to get some new faces in the server to mess around the game with. Not too much going on there right now. The admin's and renters of the server are against hacking. Personally, I don't think it's worth all the hype to try and hack a server, although admin abilities does have perks. :)

Anyhow, thanks for posting here. Back to running around blindly on someone else's Tiavana house.

But Richie, it is not the content provided, it is the third party programs they use. These are not very easily hidden, so most servers like this get shut down rather quickly. Just a fair warning in general.

Joining any server does not pose a risk to yourself, the only way you can lose your key is by installing dodgy software.

No it's not. Your CD Key is never available to the server or admins, they (along with every other player in the server) only have access to your GUID, a 128 bit MD5 hash that is based on a secure GameSpy CD-Key hash that is never publicly accessible. So basically it's hashed twice, is very secure and cannot be reversed, making it almost impossible for someone to steal your CD Key in this manner.

I have only had a few posts on this forum, I am the main admin for this server. And I promise even if you could steal peoples CD Key's, we would not do that. We are fair, we treat others with respect on our server, unless your name is VanZeppelin and I usually shoot him in the leg lol. But that's just him. We discourage any hacking, if I or any of my moderators catch hacking we will ban them from the server. If someone is reported to be hacking we will investigate, but we will not blindly ban people from the server. We are working right now on getting a TS server up and going so people can talk freely. We are running a Rmod 2.1 server so if you would like to have fun hang out and kill Zeds and NPC's come on we would love to have you.

I played a bit on here. It's fun and has good FPS. I ran into Joker and another while in game they didn't KoS me, but approached with caution, and gave me a good welcome. I was playing under the name: Clyde Sterling.

It's a fun one. More should give it a run and feel it out. Rmod2.1 is really a great addition. More so IMO then any Epoch, Origin or some other flavor of the month......map\mod.
