Need some confirmation on vehicles

So, I have had multiple occasions when vehicles explode, but I thought it was just if the engine was red and you crashed it could explode, but I had a car and it was all green except the fuel tank, and I stopped in the middle of a field on completely empty server to restart my computer, so I stopped and got off, and the moment I did, It just exploded. Just like that. So I was wondering if that's because of the fuel tank that caused it?

If the fuel tank is also red it may also explode as it is whit the red engine.

If the HULL, ENGINE, or FUEL gauges are red, your car can explode at any time. Treat it like you would a paper mache airplane gliding on water in the rain during a monsoon upside down; give up and leave it.

Yes, what Applejaxc said. I've also had fully repaired vehicles explode suddenly for no apparent reason. Welcome to ArmA II. :D

If you own a car, it would prolly go boom-boom on the street if:

- your engine is broken to a point it spills fuel everywhere

- your fuel tank leaks

- your car is shot up everywhere
