Servers with players on the map..

Really? Could that get any more stupid? Well anyways I joined a server and I loved it and I check my map and it has blue/red dots on the map. Asked in side what they were and they said players! That's really stupid and ruins stealth don't you think?

Server settings.

It is up to you to choose which level of difficulty you wish to play, before joining a Server.

Use 'regular' or 'veteran' in your server filter if you want to avoid 'recruit' mode servers.

It's worth mentioning that it only shows players/zombies when you've already had a line of sight within a certain range.

It doesn't update the position once you lose line of sight, and will disappear soon after losing LoS.

If you are looking for a good, nearly vanilla private-hive server with veteran settings, you could do worse than Wireworld UK.
