I was about to quit Dayz completely, 'till I came across a group of folk that run a server called ApocolypseRP

It's a mod of the Dayz mod but very well done. A great sense of progression is there. The survival aspect and balance there of is on a whole 'nother level. the ablility to build your own prema camp is nice. But you have to scavenge for the supplies to build it, which can take time. Only one Hospital on the map in that it's vital to have those supplies that makes them alot more important aka valuable (trade plays a part in this server as well). And just a few refueling spots too (plan your routes and think about those jerry cans).

 

Loot is sparse but yet balanced giving the sense of strife, and life.

 

So far I've been playing for months and I have a blast everytime I get on.

 

The custom loot tables are setup in a way that really gives you a feal of progression, just the items in which most that play DAYZ take for granted can be a major find and give you that extra bit to help "make it" just a tad longer.

 

The Zombies cant just be "shrugged off" like on vinilla....they pack a punch (pun intended).

 

I highly recommend this server to anyone looking for a new experience in the Dayz Scene....just don't expect to be all geared up after a Fire station and store raid.
