my first kill on dayz started of with me finding a hatchet after spawning in kamenka i decided to go to cherno but stop off by the airfield.

while i was there i found nothing special some drink, food and basic medical equipment. I was just about to leave when i noticed someone in the distance. i was new to the game so i didnt know what a bandit skin was and shouted friendly expecting him to do the same. he started to look around the airfield and eventually found me. he aimed his gun at me so i shouted again friendly dont shoot. but he did.

He was a bad shot and fired of half a mag only hitting me once. i was bleeding and ran towards him with my axe he shot at me a few more times hitting me again.

i was right next to him and was swinging my axe aimlessely but yet hit him twice and broken his legs. he then shot another round which hit my leg and broke them.

we were then both scrambling for survival but he had to reload so i composed myself and hit him in the head as many times as i could. i had finnally killed him but was bleeding and had no bandages.

Later his buddy came over who again i thought was friendly so i asked him for bandages. he shot me in the head and i died.

although i died it was fun and tense being out gunned and yet winning a battle and to this day i now bandit and have killed around 50+ people.

Yep, sounds like your typical COD bandit. Can't aim at all.

I still remember my first kill clear as day. I don't think I'll be forgetting it anytime soon either.

I honestly have no clue where I was at. The only thing I know was that I was in a barn along the shore.

I was looting the barn hoping to find a gun. This was only my 2nd or 3rd day playing DayZ and I had NEVER run into a player before. I heard running outside of the barn but it didn't sound like a zombie running. My heart started racing.

I had really shitty gear but at the time it was of value to me. The person comes running into the barn with a crowbar. I'm on the second flooring freaking out and hoping the person doesn't run up to me. Well, she did run up to the same floor as me. I had no clue if the person was friendly or not and didn't want to die. I started firing for the first time at a player.

I don't know how many times I hit her. She jumped off the second floor after I hit her maybe once or twice. Her legs broke and I ran down the stairs to finish her off. I fired a second clip at her and hit her a few more times. On my third clip I put a few shots to her head.

After killing her I didn't know how to feel. I felt that in some ways my killing was justified because I didn't know if she was friendly or not. I didn't know at the time how terrible the crowbar was. I thought it was lethal. I felt threatened as the little bambi I was.

Now I'm a hero. I use to play as a bandit and had around 200 kills. But I only my first kill I remember so well.

Some guy wanted to kill me when I was looting military tents in Stary. I was in gear menu and the guy tried to shoot me from the hill in my back. Well his attempt was doomed when he hit in my leg and I turned and give him a headshot with M16 ACOG. That guy's aim was bad :P

i had spawned in kamenka and started going east. along the way i found a makarov. i went into a house (it was the brown one with only 1 entrance/exit. i walk into the house and turn the corner and i see a bandit looking at me. I fire off an entire mag into his head, killing him.

I remember my first kill as well. And what a great one it was.

I was running around cherno as a fresh spawn trying to get some basic gear before heading north. Heard this guy over side chat calling for someone to come to the elektro church because he had been shot and needed blood. Well I grabbed a blood bag from cherno hospital and headed to elektro to help him.

About halfway there another guy said over side chat that he was outside the church and was coming in and telling the other guy not to shoot. Apparently the guy shot him and was laughing over side chat about it. So I was like ok I'm gonna go mess this dude up. Had a lee enfield and crept around the back of elektro coming up behind the firehouse. Well about that time I saw a guy on top of the elektro firehouse camping and aiming at the church. As it turns out the guy that was asking for blood in elektro church was actually sitting on top of the firehouse shooting anyone who walked into the church.

So I took out my enfield and I saw another guy climbing the ladder to the top of the firehouse. He gets to the too and boom, he's dead. His body is laying on top of the ladder blocking the view down it. So I crept my way to the top of the ladder just before getting to the top and I see him laying prone on the roof of the firehouse aiming at the ladder. I just sat there just out of sight for several mins waiting for him to turn away. He crouched and looked down the ladder a couple times and couldnt see me because the body of the guy he killed was blocking his view of the top of the ladder. Finally he turned back toward the church and I came up the ladder and gave him a headshot to the back of the skull.

Well my first kill happened in the warehouse in komarovo and i had just picked up and ax and some supplies. While i was looting someone came up behind me and hit me right in the back with an ax he found somewhere else. I quickly turn around and happen to bury my ax in his head with one hit. I loved the feeling of my first kill.

The delight of finding your first rifle quickly turns to paranoia over fear of anyone willing stealing my precious baby from me.

I went to the supermarket after dodging some other players and saw a guy picking up items, he was armed with a windchester i think, but i saw him as a potential threat and would player it safe. I shot him on sight (something i vowed never to do since i am a 'GOOD PERSON') and the bloke was dead before i even knew it, i knew the shots would attract nosy players and ran away as fast as i could to the hills.

Who would know my first kill would be so cold hearted and cruel like a bandit, coming from a person who never shoots on sight.

I remember my most intense kill me and a friend were in elektro picking up some loot I found an ak and he had an m16 and at first we saw just one guy behind us who shot me but in the leg my friend killed him and I got some morphine. then we noticed two guys on the roof they were friends with the guy we killed and we had a small intense firefight we ended up killing them. after thinking we were in the clear a heli and 2 guys on foot shot at us my friend took an amazing shot that killed the pilot and passangers. after running out of ammo on my ak I found a revolver my friend was killed and i ran building to building without them spotting me. then i got agro and had to open fire so knowing the enemies would chase me i ran behind the corner of the building and lay there 10 seconds later i killed both of them.

I remember my first kill, I was in balota airfield just spawn found m4a1 and a guy with a pistol showed up , I shot like crazy 30 bullets hit only about 4.(I was a nab lol)

I killed him but he broke my leg so I had to respawn.

I start smiling when someone sprays his bullets on me. Usually that gives me 2-3 seconds to aim and make that one shot.

I always imagine the players sitting in front of their pcs. holding down LMB, looking away from the screen screaming "make it go away"....

My first kill was pretty interesting, a friend and I met up outside elektro and we were heading north. We ran into a tent that had mostly medical supplies and food, that's when we ran into the owner of the tent, he had a double barrel and was aiming straight at us. My friend started shouting in direct chat that we were friendly and not to shoot. He stood there for a good 10 seconds and then lowered his gun. He was a nice chap and offered us supplies and in return we blood bagged him. We split our own ways and then as we reached the road we heard a lee enfield shot... He had just been killed. We scrambled back up to his camp and saw a bandit looting his body. I proceed to unload a whole akm mag making sure he was dead, didn't have a clue how the game worked back in the day ^^, that was when my first kill occurred Sucks that the good guys in the world get the worse :(

Lol. Here's a good story.

I was looting one of those fire-fighter towers, then I saw a heli. So my first instinct was to shoot it down. But little did I know his two friends were in the gunner seat. So they started pumping rounds into the tower. Like the little fresh spawn I was, I panicked. Like, really bad. So I came to a conclusion: Shoot it as many times as possible. So I went out in the front and aimed at one of the gunners, and before he could kill me I shot 12 bullets in his body and 3 in his head and then he died. Thats when i realized I had a good shot at the pilot. He was trying to gain altitude so my bullets wouldn't hurt him. But they both met with a Terrible Fate, because I loaded a whole Ak mag into the Pilot's body. Sure enough the helicopter started to swerve, and then I realized it started to fall towards me. At first I thought my bullets didn't hit him, but it said I did I side chat. I tried to run away, but it was futile. It fell right behind me and I exploded with the rest of the bandits. But to this day, I still consider it a

My first kill went like this.

I've been scavenging for two or three days, never seeing anyone on public hive.

I find a lee and a M1911.

I'm running out of bolota aircraft control tower when I hear shots. I now know it was an ak-74. I run up the stairs again and sit in the corner, him being a bandit nonchalantly walks up the stairs and starts picking up water bottles. I shoot him in the leg and breaks his, then I pull my M1911 and execute him.
