applejaxc 2500 Posted April 3, 2013 Did it vanish as you were looking at it, or did you shoot him and not find the body afterwards?1: Bodies do despawn if you don't stay around them on some servers. I don't know if public servers do, but private server owners don't like to hog their space with dead bodies2: More likely it is Alt + F4 assholes. I tend to call it a game after I die and I never saw a reason to stick around and talk with the person who just killed me so I would just quickly abort and disconnect. It took someone actually telling me it made my body vanish for me to realize I was disconnecting too quickly even though I was not alt F4ing or attempting to combat log. So while some people might be trying to be jerks about it I suspect many people were just rage quitting like myself after taking a death without knowing our loot was disappearing. taco241 393 Posted April 4, 2013 I was once logging at the end of my night, and a fraction of a second before I hit the "disconnect" button, I was shot in the head by an unseen sniper.Probably didn't look good on me, even though I've never combat logged.
