enniss23 1 Posted April 2, 2013 was just thinking of man vz wild what if you could peel bark off a tree to reveal grubs or you could catch dragon flys and munch on them ha
DemonGroover 8836 Posted April 2, 2013 I like the idea of harvesting - picking apples of trees and maybe getting myself one of those huge pumpkins you see lying around. Not too sure about eating bugs though, especially if there is still food around to be found. byrgesen 1341 Posted April 3, 2013 (edited) Cmon, i wanna go all Bear Grylls in Chernarus XDIf i want to eat bugs to survive, i should have the option tbh.Just like carving a "beef" from a player should be possible. And picking fruits/vegetables up for food. This is the apocalypse, you dont know what you could be forced to do to survive tbh. thegalakrondian 17 Posted April 4, 2013 I like it, but there should be some boundaries... (ex one little orange shouldn't completely reset your hunger, should only stave it off for a little bit) You would have to collect ALOT of small little oranges to reset your hunger completely because most plants/vegetables don't have a lot of fat, you would have to scavenge constantly. Eating a player when a player has already been eaten by zombies doesn't sound very safe or tasty for that matter. I like fishing ;)

Not dead but living virus infected people. And the players are immune to the Virus, making it quite safe to eat if cooked first tbh.You are right about the vegetable/fruits tho.You need more then one to make a "proper" meal, but im wondering if vitamin defiency will be implemented in any way, forcing you to eat different stuff to stay "healthy" like you would IRL. :) Edited April 4, 2013 by Byrgesen

thegalakrondian 17 Posted April 4, 2013 (edited) Also, rabbits don't have too much fat, and some people have died because all they ate in survival situations were rabbits. (and rabbits are hard to find and kill without a weapon) Edited April 4, 2013 by thegalakrondian
wisper 61 Posted April 5, 2013 Question: Are there going to be different avatar sizes, (aka short, average, tall, very tall, nba material)? If so, different size people should have different food quantity requirements, (smaller people would need to forage less ;) ).Kudos to thegalakrodian whose idea I follow up here.
