Face camo ban-able?

So I walked into someone yesterday with a pretty sweet face camo, I asked where he got it from and he told me to google it. Before I got to ask if it's legal we both got shot on the back by some bandits

So my question remains: Do you get banned for using custom skins/face camo?

Nope, they're perfectly legit.

They aren't allowed on some servers, in which case it just wouldn't display, but if you find a server that allows them then it's fine.

You will be kicked from servers if your face paint is complex/on. So, if you do get kicked, don't worry, it's not bannable, some servers just have it disabled.

My character had the standard blue and white face-paint for a bit, I never had any problems with that. Now he has a greasy 'stache.

Banning for face paint seems excessive, that kind of thinking could even lead to racism since the black skin is harder to spot than the white. :lol:

You will be global banned from any ARMA game plus standalone. Think about THAT before you change your face to Jason Voorhees.

If you search you will find a arma fan site that has all the faces / camo variants. Basically go to your player settings file in Users/Documents/Arma OA and add '_camo01' to '_camo06' (theres 6 variants to choose from) to the end of your players face name to select. Make sure you dont try and view your face in game via player settings or it will wipe your change.

Black player skin + face (and hand/arm) camo + camo clothing + acu survival backpack truns you into a camoflagued beast in woodland :D
