dulix11 731 Posted March 30, 2013 Who gets annoyed when people post things that are 6 pages long, explaining how the guy was exploring Cherno when he ran into a survivor. He confronted him, and told him to 'Lower your weapon.' He didn't comply, so I fired on him. I felt PYSICALLY SICK after I killed him. I felt so guilty after murdering him....'Seriously, if you get so attached to the GAME that you get sick after killing someone, I think you should probably see a doctor. Fair enough different people have different responses to different things but this is a GAME.Also am I the only one who is annoyed that they are thinking aboot adding shitting to the SA? I have stated before, there is a fine line between realism and annoyance, and I just think this will become a needless interruption right in the middle of my game time. Is there any benefit or loss from doing so?I mean, why not add shaving, shampooing your hair, changing socks, sunburn, tripping over, having to tie your own shoelaces, a door opening mini-game, itches that have to be scratched and blinking to the SA as well? Oh sorry, would that break immersion?Anyway, thanks for reading, go do something constructive now! :P

dulix11 731 Posted March 30, 2013 not too sure if lock or 'yard. probably lock.I've always wondered what the difference is. Your thread gets locked when it gets yarded anyway, so why not just yard all spam/unessasary threads?

SkrooLoose (DayZ) 143 Posted March 30, 2013 Seriously, if you get so attached to the GAME that you get sick after killing someone, I think you should probably see a doctor. Fair enough different people have different responses to different things but this is a GAME.Really? A game which can draw in their attention and hold it for hours and hours on end; make them emotions such as sorrow, anger, fright, relief an such; to you that's a bad thing?Sound to me like it's a pretty fucking good game if it can affect a person like that.
bad_mojo (DayZ) 1204 Posted March 30, 2013 There's a thousand other games and mods that put you in the position of a mindless killer. Why not go play one of those instead of getting annoyed that this one is doing something unique.
Fraggle (DayZ) 15720 Posted March 30, 2013 OP - You're taking shitting out of context. When it's part of the overall new disease mechanic that'll hopefully be in the SA it'll be something like we've never seen in a game before and will probably be copied by other multiplayer games for years after.Of course if you look at the way you are then yes it seems a bit pointless. OrLoK 16186 Posted March 30, 2013 Hello thereBeing annoyed by other folk's posts means you're taking the forum too seriously. There's lots of threads and topics I dont like, or are not in my range of humour, I simply ignore them as other posters seem to enjoy them. Different things appeal to different people. To illustrate my point As to defaction, why not wait and see how it's implemented along with the rest of the disease/health system before you judge?RgdsLoK
RM - Legion 3 Posted March 30, 2013 When I play DayZ. I get into character. I really play my character out. Its the best way to experience DayZ. Every gun fight gets your heart pumping like you were actually there. Its ridiculous the effect this game has on you.
King Tubbs 224 Posted March 30, 2013 (edited) shitting is going to have results in game if you do it to close to water sources it infects the water source and can make you illand as for guilt for killing someone it is normal. Dayz makes you value you player, losing at this game gives you a greater sense of loss than any other game i have ever played (when you get past around 3/4 hours anyway)not feeling any sort of empathy for killing someone mean YOU are the one who is not normal this is not counter strike Edited March 30, 2013 by King Tubbs

This really goes for most things in life doesn't it? There's always that one person that is annoying, that one tv-show you cringe at so much you wanna go hulk on their asses. Yes it's just a game, unlike real life. However you are the one playing it, you're not an emotionless robot with no input. In my opinion games are just an extension of our lives, altho usually in a very fictional manner.
