Recommended Posts

Can someone tell me if i can run DayZ, smoothly, doesn't have to be high settings, just low FPS lag.

Windows 7 Home Premium

64 Bit

Processor Intel® Core™ i5-2450M CPU @ 2.50GHz, 2501 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 6.00 GB

Radeon ™ HD 7470M

Adapter RAM 1.00 GB (1,073,741,824 bytes)

Also, i got an Intel® HD Graphics Family in there, if you needed any more info.

NOTE: This is a Laptop/notebook

If you need more infomation, feel free to ask, i just want to get to the root of if it can run it.

I don't think you have enough RAM and your processor is gonna struggle. You do have enough, I read the wrong bit but still the processor.

I'm running a Toshiba satellite at normal settings (+high video memory), with a Integrated 3K graphics chip and 4.0GB ram. My processor is only an i3, and I get 20-50 FPS (even online). You should have no problem, as long as you stay plugged in/running on "High" settings.

EDIT

YOUR PC BATTERY is on high/full performance, not the game!

Stay at 1km viewing distance and set terrain detail to low/very low. That will let you say prone players from very far away, because grass/trees won't be loaded around them correctly.

Your rig is almost the same as mine you can run the game but it takes some work to optimise it hell I only got it running smoothly last night (I have had to reinstall windows so the work begins again) there is a great guide somewhere on the forum which helped me immensely.
