I have all of the configuration done server sided, I start my server and it sticks at "Requesting Authentication"

Boots the player with a message like "Something went wrong, Reconnect and try again"

Can anyone help me with this?

You will have to give a little more information.

Is this a Public Hive server ?

If so you should post in the Server General Forum.

Where the hell did you pull that from?

Hive calls for a MySQL Server

How the hell does that make it local?

127.0.0.1 refers to your local host.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think the public hive is 184.95.33.66:3306 however, that will not work if your servers IP has not been whitelisted/approved and assigned an instance ID.

With the standalone getting closer to completion the mod ticket system is being worked on less and less. Hive submissions are very very slow due to limited time spent on this. Some may get approved but not often. The recommendation is to migrate to private hives.

When you assure us it's a public server, what do you mean? Because according to those logs it's connecting to a local mysql database, not the public hive database.

That's the exact thing I was waiting for in the support tickets I made

I would prefer a public

You will be waiting a long time (if you get approved at all), seen a few people posting they are still waiting after 2+ months. You would be best hosting the database yourself (private hive). Someone else will have to explain how to do that though.

You're still making no sense at all.

since hive is local, this is a private server, not a public one as you mentioned.

your problem has nothing to do with public hive or whilelisting.

So you have to describe what files you use (vanilla server pbo or Reality? mission file? database scheme? BE filters?)

And also, check if you can see other errors in server.log and HiveExt.log.

Good gawd, if you don't know if you are connected to the Official Public Hive or not, how the dickens do you expect to recieve an answer to your ticket !

If you do not have an instance id from DayZ Mod, you are not Public.

Where did you get your server from ?

Crimelife

I just don't know anymore.
