you are obviously just trolling. you don't know the situation, you don't know what went on in the server and you obviously make bad assumptions and judgment calls on people you never met. you posts are irrelevant to what happened in the server.

Clearly, because NOBODY would deduce you saying "I used admin powers to alter my gear" meaning that you were demoted for spawning gear. Therefore I am aware of what the "situation is" fully.

And since you literally just told us what is going on, either we DO know what's going on in the server, or you're lying. Why you'd make up a lie that proves you to be incorrect is beyond me.

Finally, I don't seem to see anyone else disagreeing with me here. You've yet to provide a logically sound argument, and keep dismissing my posts as "irrelevant" when really you mean "Correct but fuck you".

My apologies for the latish reply, I was by far and away more concerned with taking care of issues (caused by you) with current players, than I am with explaining myself to former ones.

Lets start off by stating the fact that if you were indeed interested in discussing this, you would not have began by causing such issues. It is partly my fault, yes I agree, I should have changed the path to the admin tools. I was unaware that the security mechanism of these tools allowed to continued access even after your admin account was deleted.

Secondly, I was extremely clear in the fact that admin tools should not be used for personal gain or harming other players. Admin tools are there solely for creating a hacker free environment. From this you deviated. I am an incredibly strong believer in the phrase "problems do not get better with age", as such when I recognize one I usually take immediate action.

You know as well as I do that I had absolutely no problem with your killing other players, in fact I thought it a good thing. A server needs bandits, it is an aspect of the game which I am now, sadly, without. Players need to feel threatened by other players, it is one of the things that makes this game great.

In so far as destroying your base, I frankly have absolutely no idea what you are talking about here. I do not see what I would have to gain by destroying yours, or any player's for that matter, base? I refrain from messing with people's bases because I do not feel it fair if I were to do those things. For one, I built the custom base you were using, for you. For me to destroy it would be against he founding principle which I have in this game: admins should not interfere with the game play of players (unless it is as a player themselves). By knowing, due to having created them, the location of player bases I am obligated to leave them alone. I have always felt (and expressed to everyone on the server) that such knowledge keeps me from doing a lot of things in the game (the same reason I will not tell anyone where any vehicles are..... I know where most of them are, because I PUT THEM THERE).

You went and got "your" vehicles back utilizing admin tools to locate those vehicles, and then utilizing admin tools to spawn in parts to fix those vehicles. ANY player utilizing a map to locate vehicles or player, and ANY player utilizing anything to spawn things into the game is banned.

Banning ORION: ok, I agree that may have been a little harsh. Orion had little to do (as he was not an admin) with the actions taken by you two, but I felt that the best way to move on from this situation would be to keep the drama of it out of the server. Had I not banned Orion, there would definitely have been drama, which would have effected the players on the server..... which I strive to keep from happening. I have nothing against Orion, other than the knowledge of the drama allowing him on my server would cause. For that I hope he understands and accepts my apology.

I didn't give a reason for banning you simply for, as stated above, the time constraints natural to such situations. Any situation like this is going to get ugly and fast. As such I moved as quickly as possible to remove all access to the server, and correct the issues that you caused between such time. Again, had you felt that there was a logical and mature manner that this could be handled, I'm sure you would have refrained from causing the issues that you did immediately upon getting banned. Restating: some of this is my fault, I was unaware that connections to the control page persisted even after your account on that page was deleted.

My spawning in gear: I have on occasion, when testing certain features (such as NPC and safe zone) spawned myself into a location to facilitate that testing. I felt (and still do) that the swift implementation of those features supersedes any requirements to go and gather gear in order to test it, it is after all a test. As far as spawning with gear everytime.... I spawn with the same gear that anyone spawns with.... with one exception: I spawn in the rocket_dz skin. My apologies from spawning in gear to "help" me in the game, I use that skin so that folks can recognize me entering their bases for modifications (as previously stated, I do not go to player bases for any hostile intentions). Spawning parts for vehicles? I find that statement funny, as it was just this weekend I sat here for 6 hours looking for parts to fix a huey, and you were online while I was talking about it.

I am 100% sure that I told both of you (while sitting around a camp fire) that admin tools were not to be used for personal gain in any way.

Anyway, my apologies again for the book here, just now had the time to sit down and write a response in detail. I am sorry that this had to come to be, you and your game play style will be missed. As I stated above, we need players (not admins) like you (bandits) to make the server more interesting.

Actually lets start by pretending you actually care to discuss this like adults, but instead ban your admins with no explanation at all nor even talked to us since your carebear clan came to the server.

Secondly you were clear to us that we are to catch the hackers at any means necessary, Check the logs, check for spawn gear, check tents bases and vehicles for any suspicious or banned gear. And lastly don't use admin tools for pvp. Of course we didn't use it for pvp why would we. There's no point in playing the game then. Not once did you say don't give youself gear which we didn't need to since we looted legitimately before we were admins(All trolls read that last sentence carefully). We spawned in vehicle parts, big deal the only luxury we had beside player model skins. you did the same, you spawn yourself in fully geared everytime, spawned in parts for vehicles aswell. But whats good for the goose isn't for the gander right. We watched you do it but whatever Dan lie about it to sugar coat whoever reads this.

Our base ya you made the 1st one, but we made our 2nd one you just imported it. Destroy our base 10 minutes before restart or you did it in the editor. Either way you did it to cause drama when the server restarted for you carebear clan to probably make a video.

As far as knowing where people are on the server its not to hard, just read the morons typing in side channel where they are and where they are going. Pretty easy to kill people then. But you rather cater to the carebears and whiners just because there's 5 of them and only 3 bandits.

No Dan you didn't give a reason because you didn't have the balls to tell us like adults yet you rather act a child about it and just give us a big FUCK YOU, that's why it got ugly. If you would have came to us instead of letting it go on( you were even in steam chat while we said it and did it) we would still have been adults about it and played on the server.

And we are 100% sure you said nothing of the sort except not for pvp(as i said before and said then at that campfire, there would be no point in playing the game.) We never abused that, The idiot carebears on the server telling us their locations, and then cry admin abuse. And that dumbass spot for a bsse 200m from balota airfield was the dumbest spot to put 4 vehicles,5 tents and 2 helis at. Anyone who flies would have seen that base in a daily fly by down the coast like i did checking for zombies and bambis on the coast. Whatever Dan sugar coat it anyway you want you abuse spawning in parts and gear. Just like any admin does but we just did parts. And not to mention all the helis you spawned in for your new carebears and the tents full of gear you spawned in for them. O also the tents you spawned in behind your usual location at 108-002 or very near the location but "no you never spawn in gear for yourself or other players".....hypocritical liar

Anyway my apologies to the players of the server, We never used admin tools for pvp, We used our admin rights to catch hackers and a little bit of luxury of spawning in parts(only) for ourselves in our usual 8-16 hour gameplay a day on the server to bring in more traffic. But we need more Honest Owners(not hypocritical child douche bags) who don't ban just because carebears are whining. Enjoy your carebears and a server full.....i mean 5 whining players.

excuse, there is no excuse. Just a plain simple child Owner catering to crybaby carebears cuz they were killed in a video game. But whatever we moved on to a bigger and better server already. Just wish someone didn't have to stab 2 people in the back...end of story

Then just drop it. It's obvious that no about of logical reasoning is going to persuade you, and you can keep banging your head on the brick wall but you won't get anywhere. If you're already done, then I see no reason for further discussion. Anything wrong with his server will become apparent on its own.
