Server control kicked

I clicked server control in the map screen out of curiosity, there goes all my "progress." Should make it so a little window pops up either denying access or asking for a password or something.

Progress? DayZ saves all your progress server side.

It's an ARMA 2 mechanic, not DayZ.

You didn't lose any progress, just join the server again before complaining here.

For the standalone, it can be fixed, but for the mod, it''s impossible to fix. It's an Arma problem. It's really not a simple problem, at least for the mod. Giving you access to server control would be like giving you the ability to see where everyone is at all times or change the time in-game or other admin-y stuff.
