Skat3rat 1633 Posted March 20, 2013 I can't say for sure, but I think they already plan on adding weapon jams and cleaning in SA.
rossums 2190 Posted March 20, 2013 Weapons will deteriorate in the standalone and will require maintenance. This is a good thing.
terminal_boy 860 Posted March 20, 2013 Hopefully, weapons will deteriorate at a sensible speed and not fall apart before your very eyes as in Far Cry 2.Jagged Alliance had a more sensible system, but you still shouldn't need to clean a modern military weapon after 300 rounds unless you buried it in sand or mud at some point. -Gews- 7443 Posted March 20, 2013 Hopefully, weapons will deteriorate at a sensible speed and not fall apart before your very eyes as in Far Cry 2.This. Jams should be rare if you perform basic maintenance. Rifles shouldn't be jamming all over the place, look at the stories of how much abuse and neglect AKs can take. I hope they implement it somewhat realistically.

An AR15\M16 you must keep the BCG properly lubed or you will suffer, got a grain of sand on the cartridge your rifle will jam. The m16 platform while it has been improved is nowhere as reliable as the M14 \ M1 Garand \ AK platform

The m16 platform while it has been improved is nowhere as reliable as the M14 \ M1 Garand \ AK platformI do, and have owned many platforms. I'd generally disagree with the "grain of sand on the cartridge" instance you've listed; however, for all intents and purposes I think the amount of user-related malfunctions where Generic Survivor A finds an AR platform rifle, and improperly uses it, would likely be running rampant. How many times have you see someone hold the magazine whilst firing and not be able to figure out why their rifle doesn't cycle their $7 box of steel cased ammo? lolSuffice it to say that it's a good thing this is a video game, as the people that own and properly maintain their firearms wouldn't be enough to fill a server. Let the bambis frolic in the sun where ignore is bliss, and .45acp revolver speedclips magically turn into 1911 magazines. Edited March 20, 2013 by TG ! matusgreats 0 Posted March 21, 2013 (edited) Do we want to get to pest control brisbane that level? Dirty guns can cause jam pest control gold coast kits to clean up and maintainedI will surely not be that careless and will not get to this level Edited March 22, 2013 by matusgreats
enforcer1975 1111 Posted March 21, 2013 Let the bambis frolic in the sun where ignore is bliss, and .45acp revolver speedclips magically turn into 1911 magazines. And the fact that auto pistol cartridges suddenly have rims...or vice versa. There are too many compromises in the game but let's take it this way...it is still a game but a bit of logic would be great. BearGravy 53 Posted March 21, 2013 I am pretty sure that it is going to happen in the game. Only thing is I hope it is something I can visually see rather than a gauge telling me. I want to see rust on my gun and what not.

A regular application of Slip 2000 will keep a quality AR-15 using decent ammo running until something breaks or the gas rings wear out unless you have a FTF due to popper primers building up in the FCG or using worn-out magazines.A Bushmaster being fed Privi Partisan or Wolf ammo, no so much.
