Error when loading server

Recommended Posts

When loading a server, I get the following error....

  Quote
"Files "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\Arma 2\addons\a10.pbo

Files "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\Arma 2\addons\ah64.pbo

Files "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\Arma 2\addons\air.pbo

Files "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\Arma 2\addons\air2.pbo

Files "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\Arma 2\addons\air3.pbo

Files "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\Arma 2\addons\animals.pbo

Are not signed by a key accepted by this server. To play on this server, remove listed files or install

additional accepted keys"

I have tried the following...

Deleted the files that display with the error (If I delete the files above, the error changes to different

.pbo files)

Removed/Re-installed Arma 2 and OA

I am using retail arma 2 and steam OA with playwithSIX launcher

I had DayZ working fine a few months back, but uninstalled like an idiot :(

Have you reinstalled the mod itself?

Yes, I have.

There is probably something messed up with the registry. See if there is some antivirus program doing bad stuff and make sure you are re-installing as admin!

EDIT: Also there could be that there are some addons, or files, that the server won't accept. See if you can find the files you mentioned and see if they are messed up somehow. Like copies or such.

Try using something else to load the game like DayZ Commander or just running DayZ through ARMA2: OA in steam. Sometimes Playwithsix doesnt wokr for everyone.

Your best bet now is just to uninstall everything that has to do with the mod (ARMA 2, OA, DayZ) and do a fresh reinstall. I know it's a pain in the ass but that's probably your only option.

Like I said earlier, I have already tried that... I uninstalled every single file related to Arma 2, OA, and Dayz.. I even ran CCleaner, cleared out recycle bin, and other stuff like that... I made sure there were no files left by using the search function on Windows :P

I guess I will just wait for the standalone :D

Are you sure you are starting with the correct beta-patches and all that when you start the game? If it's a shortcut it might just start the basic version.

There are also some other threads on this same error, maybe looking at those might help you. Also try installing the latest ARMA beta patch.

Installed the v1.11 patch and it erased all of my DayZ files o.O

Re-installing DayZ to see if it works now
