TheBambiAvenger 146 Posted March 12, 2013 Have you reinstalled the mod itself?

terrvik 2409 Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) There is probably something messed up with the registry. See if there is some antivirus program doing bad stuff and make sure you are re-installing as admin!EDIT: Also there could be that there are some addons, or files, that the server won't accept. See if you can find the files you mentioned and see if they are messed up somehow. Like copies or such. Edited March 12, 2013 by Terrorviktor
Hockeyguy 107 Posted March 12, 2013 Try using something else to load the game like DayZ Commander or just running DayZ through ARMA2: OA in steam. Sometimes Playwithsix doesnt wokr for everyone.
C0pyRyte 12 Posted March 12, 2013 Disabled AVG,Tried running OA through steam, and tried using DayZ Commander..Still get the error :(
TheBambiAvenger 146 Posted March 12, 2013 Still get the error :(Your best bet now is just to uninstall everything that has to do with the mod (ARMA 2, OA, DayZ) and do a fresh reinstall. I know it's a pain in the ass but that's probably your only option.

I know it's a pain in the ass but that's probably your only option.Like I said earlier, I have already tried that... I uninstalled every single file related to Arma 2, OA, and Dayz.. I even ran CCleaner, cleared out recycle bin, and other stuff like that... I made sure there were no files left by using the search function on Windows :PI guess I will just wait for the standalone :D
terrvik 2409 Posted March 12, 2013 Are you sure you are starting with the correct beta-patches and all that when you start the game? If it's a shortcut it might just start the basic version.
AmberHelios 2071 Posted March 12, 2013 have you installed the arma2 v1.11 patch ??
Hockeyguy 107 Posted March 12, 2013 There are also some other threads on this same error, maybe looking at those might help you. Also try installing the latest ARMA beta patch.
