ARMA2 Full Set

So I was wondering if I purchased the complete set of ARMA2 if dayz would play on the complete game set or just the 2 games.

DayZ just requires both ArmA 2 and ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead. These can be bought individually or as a package called ArmA 2: Combined Ops, which is currently on sale on Steam for $12 until the 14th. Purchasing any package with these two games means that you can play DayZ

I think the other addons add higher rez textures to some things (PMC gives higher res character textures, BAF makes some of the cars more 'high def', not sure what ACR does if anything).

ArmA II: Private Military Company and ArmA II: British Armed Forces are expansions which do add higher resolution on characters, items and vehicles. I use the expansions and it makes the game look better, I suggest using it. To actually play DayZ you only need ArmA II and ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead and that is all.
