Anyone who can help a hacker victim?

I had left this mod awhile back due to my hectic schedule and irl things. I came back last week, only to be hacked on my first sit down. I was teleported to the middle of the ocean and have not been able to get back by downgrading or exiting on loading. Is there anyother method besides waiting for your character to starve or dehydrate to death? I need some help to be able to join the ranks of humans again as life as a merman is quite boring. Any Ideas?

Either starve to death, or join a whitelist server.

Yup, just find yourself a good private server, it'll save you a hell of a lot of trouble in the future.

I thought the game automatically respawned you on the beach if you were out of the map boundary, otherwise your best bet is to swim back to shore (put something heavy on w and go afk) You'll either make it back or die. Join a regular server so you can see where you are on the map and set a waypoint.

Starting a new profile won't give you a new character, your character is tied to your GUID.

You'll spawn in with a fresh avatar, and never worry about being flushed out (literally) by those sissy skiddies anymore.

Also, players are much more mature, and admins actually DO SOMETHING about rule-breakers (on moat servers).

umm yea...I cant really remember how I got to the menu...its the arma menu u get to right before u get to desktop when u close the game....I need to do it myself to be sure. But I know I have 3 profiles and have changed to another if im stuck ingame

edit: seeing from the replys over maybe this dosent work in dayz...it works in the custom maps....like Sahrani when I got stuck all the time and had to change profile to continue playing

If you're quick enough, you can press the respawn button before it grays out. This is one of the pros of a not-so-fast computer :) (Ok, maybe the only pro...)

If it grays out too fast, turn your graphics up until it starts to lag.

I was a member of Vigilante addiction's whitelisted servers but I imagine they did some housekeeping of non active members because I don't have access any longer. Will seek refuge elsewhere I suppose.

If he is mentioning what I think he is mentioning, then that avatar is lost to the far depths of DayZ, never to be seen again.

Happened to me on a Public once, worst thing about it was just watching the screen... knowing there are no sharks in DayZ... but it's still nervewracking.
