Rifle and Axe

Why can I sling my rifle and run around shooting a pistol, but I cannot sling my rifle and swing an axe?

Certainly would nice to not have to drop a rifle to use a nice quiet axe.

Why not sling your axe to swing your rifle?

Personally that's the way I would do it.

Ummm ... errr ... wait I know: "magnetic interference from money/credit cards" ... did that help?

It is because the Axe is considered a Primary Weapon ... the Devs would be able to answer you why ... and it is just the way the game mechanics are. Life just isn't fair ... I know ... but hey ... at least you can swing your axe and shoot your load ... I mean pistol. ;)

Probably because not a single rifle in-game has an actual sling on it? pretty sure slings have been suggested a few times and hopefully we see something down the road.

I remember when my 3 point sling arrived in the mail and i went to attach it. I was immediately humbled by my inability to figure out how to properly set it up. HURRAY for being a civilian !!! well not quite.

There is a glitch for that actually, a video recently came up showing how to swing a rifle at a zombie ^^

Because ARMA 2 doesn't feature mellee weapons. The hatchet is actually a reskinned gun with miniscule range.

Don't feel bad some 3 Points are like weapon accessorie arubix cubes. If I go to put mine on my rifle after being on leave I have to think how does this magic work lol.
