An-2, Introduced a couple patches ago, ne one found a legit one?

Yes, I saw one in a hangar at NWAF once. I couldn't enter it though. I didn't try too hard though since I'd have most likely just crashed immediately.

Yeah, I've seen several... mainly parked at either the NW or NEAF - though, once I saw one in a field near Pobeda Dam. People don't fly them too much on Chernarus as far as I've seen... there are very few good places to land.

Ive seen hackers spawn loads on my bloody server, apart from that im pretty sure that it got removed.

an-2 plane I never seen in DayZ.

I play a lot Wasteland mod tho, I find very often an-2 planes there (Bi Planes we call them).

They are easy to fly, landing takes skills tho (People on Wasteland server I always play consider me a pro pilot of that plane).

The plane is kinda slow tho. Not much power. This means you can get stalled very fast, also auto landing IGNORE it ever if you have one. That will kill you :)

SU-25 I flew on normal Arma2. Things are fast and deadly.

an-2 plane can only be used too scout btw.

I've seen them in private hive servers, but never really found 1 on our own server.. interesting question.. I'll be investigating this when I get home from work,,.

I love flying An-2s, I haven't found a legit one, but we've all found hacked ones, right? I like landing An-2s as well.

The problem is taking off again... for serious purposes, I'd want a chopper. For fun... well, the An-2 makes me feel like Indiana Jones. They need to include an inflatable raft with it!

The players on my server love the biplane.

I dont have many creative places for spawnpoints. They only need to check the airfields. But its deff. a highlight for some people to stubble upon this little treasure.

It seems to be used for joyrides and scouting. Its gets "disposed" of when the fun is over (usually ejecting after aiming it at someone or something) :P

I've seen quite a few of these but never bothered with them, Chernarus is so hilly and forested that landing and taking off with them anywhere apart from the AF is almost impossible.

Give them a try, you will be surprised at just how easy they are to take off and land. I've landed them in trees, on house roofs, bridges etc. The roads along the coast in Chernerus have plenty of unobstructed areas to land and take off again. There's a vid on here of a guy landing one on Devils castle :D
