M40A3 and Suppressed Makarov

Hi. I was making a fire and cooking meat when I saw someone in a ghillie about to shoot me. I got up and ran and shot him in the head with an enfield. When i went to loot his body I saw a M40A3 and a suppressed makarov. Im just wondering if these weapons are okay to have. This guy was armed with all the equipment in the game as well. I previously saw a post about this and they were talking about global ban because the gun is illegal or some bullshit. Im just wondering if these weapons are okay to have mmkay thx bai.

Ive tried to take screen shots before but it doesnt work. I dont run it through steam i run it through dayz beta. They're legit. I dont feel like being a bitch and making a cheat report.

Arma 2(or OA) does feature suppressed Makarovs, however DayZ do not.

Of course it does, otherwise the weapon wouldn't be there...

It's not available on DayZ tho, so the only way to get em is with hacks.

There's the M40A3, which i don't think is available in DayZ either.

Besides, he clearly stated that wasn't his Screenshot, he's just showing us what the weapon looks like...

If it's not on the DayZ loot cheat sheet, it's probably not legit.

The only legit weapon I've come across that doesn't appear to be on the list is the RGO frag grenade.

It doesn't seem to spawn in a building or shack, but rather inside a vehicle (the military version of the UAZ to be specific).

Yea we get it, both weapons are in ArmA, however the only way to get them in DayZ is from hacked crates.

You've been informed they are hacked weapons, it's your call whether you want to cheat and take the risk that comes with it.

I'm not sure why a hacker would want to bother spawning himself a suppressed Makarov; it's pretty much the only weapon in the game that's actually weaker than the vanilla Makarov. Why not spawn himself a better suppressed weapon, like a M9SD?

Getting banned for finding a hacked weapon on a dead body is kind of shitty, honestly. I play with a few friends and I'm the only one who reads the forum, otherwise I'd have no idea finding one of these is grounds for a ban... and I've already stumbled across a hacked weapon on a dead guy at Balota airstrip.
