wasted my money unless i can get some help

it says that a bunch of addons (i dont remember which) werent accepted by a key or something. i bought it on amazon not steam because when it said buy ArmA 2 on DayZ commander it took me to amazon so dont give me steam directions. HELP!

DayZ is free. It's Arma you're paying for. Once you've installed Arma2 and Operation Arrowhead then start up Commander and ask it nicely to update/install DayZ and the Beta patch then you'll be good to go.

Make sure you run ArmA 2 first. Start it up and shut it down.

Then start up ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead and shut it down.

Then update through DayZcommander.

the beta patch is on the commander right? well i cant find it

At the top of Commander there's an update/install option. Click on that and you will see all of the options for things you can install/update. Ignore the extra maps ect, just make sure to install DayZ and the Beta patch. It's definately there, I just checked :).

if you got the amazon version you need to update arma2 to version 1.11 and arma2 oa to version 1.62 and run both games to the main menus as admin before anything else will work correctly

edit it doesn't say beta patch in dayz commander just arma2

you may have to install multiple patches to get to the newest version. start on arma2 patches then oa... for oa make sure you get the 1.60 patch as this included BAF and PMC lite and you need these

they are all up to date it says and it doesnt has an update for Arma 2 OA or it does and i cant find it

run arma2 oa to the menu

click in expansions

make sure the following are enabled

arma2

arma2 oa

arma2 baf lite

arma2 pmc lite

if not enable them and restart then exit the game
