Replace M107/AS50 with less effective russian equivalent

Recommended Posts

The only thing i can see around here is people trying to defend their AS50s cause they dont know how to play without them.

they're misplaced on the game universe, period. They're like flamethrowers or rocket launchers, they would exist in military bases on chernarus, but they're not in game just cause they're too OP and they dont really bring anything to the game.

As i said, for the "aw i wont be able to destroy helicopters anymurr" argument, i already suggested the m99 or some russian single shot anti materiel rifle equivalent.

Even experienced soldiers will tell you these things are impractical outside of specialized military situations... survivors having them is silly and me no likey.

"The .50 cal is a great sniper tool when conducting mounted operations or even aerial platform shooting but can be a bit cumbersome for dismounted operations due to its size and weight... I’m certainly not saying the 50 cal can’t be taken on a dismounted patrol because it can, but it must be employed with a team much like a crew served weapon, not very practical."
