What's the weirdest thing that's happened to you in DayZ?

So basically what's happened to you DayZ that's made you just think for a few minutes afterwards, "..WTF?"

The reason I'm wondering this is because today I walked into the church in Cherno unarmed and there was a bambi standing there with a makarov pointing at my face, I explained over Direct Chat that I was a friendly and that even if I wasn't that I wouldn't be able to do anything as I didn't even have a hatchet, he didn't reply but he just carried on aiming his gun at me, I quickly ran next to him, - he was pretty much standing on a ghillie suit that was on the floor just next to him, maybe he was trying to pick it up or something - I grabbed it then just ran out off back into cherno as he just carried on aiming his Makarov at me, it was the first time I've ever actually found a ghillie suit myself, and afterwards I just sat there in cherno supermarket thinking what the fu*k just happened? He didn't even try to shoot me...

Strangest thing that has happened to me...running into somebody that didnt want to kill me, now if you ask me that is very unusual in dayz

This one was iconic and memorable for me.

Back when the Brony Meet-up was still in effect, I had joined in on the fun. We were going to get a party bus in the server and get the meet-up underway.

So we eventually find a bus, we are told to meet in Cherno to get picked up. Most of us arrive as the bus comes and picks us up. However, I went unconscious just as I was about to enter the bus. I voiced out the situation, and a couple of guys came out to get me up and ready. Few seconds later...

...the bus exploded and killed almost everyone.

If I remember correctly, a sniper with an AS50 was in the vicinity and most likely blew out bus to hell. He was eliminated shortly-thereafter.

That one event got me knowing that in DayZ, each run is a wild ride.

I heard gunshots, and saw a guy taking down some zombies. Stayed back and just watched him. He started teabagging dead zombies, on his own. Was pretty weird, to be honest.

I found a strange package,

it was a ghile suit, tried puting it on and it instantly teleported me to the midle of the sea. water all around me???

I disconected and went back in game and found myself in the midle of Novy Sobor under some house and i was swiming on the ground.

I managed to go from under the house to the road but i couldnt get up to walk, i could only swim (on ground). So i was swiming on the road hoping to get away from town but zombies spawned near me and killed me.

I havent played DAYZ since cos i am so tired of this mindfuck game.

...am waiting for zombies to become less supercharged and the ability to turn PVP off.

If never, thats fine with me, 0 moneyz from me than DAYZ team.

Turn PvP off..... You do realise that PvP is one of the core aspects of the game right? There are servers right now that have PvP off and next to no one plays them.

Thought I heard a chopper coming over a hill, turns out it was in fact a tank which continued to run me over. After all that I survived then got killed by a guy with a makarov......i had a m14

I had a hacker spawn everyone into a moving bus and then began to fly while singing the magic school bus theme I could not stop laughing. I was also surprised to find almost every player had a sniper rifle and ghillie suit really but the game into perspective. Usually weird moments come from hackers for me

One time, me and my friend were setting up camp at a remote location we found near Cherno, and we found a bus.....

Well, we left it there because we needed to get fuel, and when we came back, it was gone. After a few more minutes playing, we found ANOTHER bus. Which worked, so we loaded some of our worthless trash and some spare wheels and fuel in it, then we took off to our camp. On the way there, we met the guy which stole our bus! We killed him fairly easily, then we took the other bus. So now we had two buses.

I don't know if this counted as a weird thing, but I found it funny that we actually found our old bus back,

Weirdest thing that happened to me was organizing a team deathmatch with a bunch of friends in the elektro industrial area.

During the setup one of the guys got sniped so we set up and started looking for the shooter, i took overwatch on top of a building, i went away for a second to check the map since there was no sign of him/her, when i come back to the game the guy is just staring at me.

Needless to say i panicked and emptied my m4 into him, then we went on with the deathmatch.
