Introductions? Semi New Guy Here

Hey guys, used to have an account a long while back, but I dont recall the user or email I set up. Anyway, I decided to return to the forums here, as I am looking forward to the upcoming release of the Stand alone. I enjoy the mod greatly, but am perhaps most excited about the controls being so much easier to handle since I dont play Arma 2 at all, got it only for the mod, which after setting up an account here early last year, I ran to steam and got the game and was greatly assisted with setting it up*DayZ Commander makes it so much eaiser these days lol

Anyway just wanted to introduce myself and ask for any friendly advise you have to give*for the forums or in game. Ill greatly accept it. I am a lover of alll things undead, But Dayz I have played for a while and am looking forward to all that is to come.

Hi ZombieNation2012, DayZ has changed a bit now :P , so quite a few things have changed.

I would suggest getting use to the controls again by playing some Arma 2 without the mod, and then gradually progress your way through until you feel comfortable enough! There is now more bandits than ever before on DayZ so make sure you get some gear before you head into the 2 main cities (Elektro and Cherno). But other than that you should be fine and I will hopefully see you on the battlefield!!

And thanks guys. Arma 2 is amazingly fun all on its own. I been playing that to get an idea of what the cities look like without zombies or snipers trying to take me out lol :D

Cheers and Thanks. Yeah I love how DayZ has that realism effect. Actually gutting animals for food and what not, finding parts to repair vehicles. THIS is survival. Accept no imitation :P

So I have noticed!! DayZ 2017 was a real different treat. I also figured out how to avoid zombies lolol, No more endless running, just need to lose line of sight long enough to duck in bushes.

Once my move is complete, I will be a permanent resident of this mod, forum and future SA edition.
