So i was running from a line of zombies when i decided to try out the combat tolr (sprint + v) to jump a fence.

It doesn't jump a fence.

So technically it's just an aesthetic appearance thing? No purpose or use whatsoever?

probably depends on the fence height (i.e. how much is the fence stuck in the ground)

Press the button approx 2 metres (a players height) before you reach the fence.

Be in a sprint and you can jump 2 wire fence width ... helps when your runnin from Zeds instead of stoping to hop over a fence or make it harder for a sniper to shoot you

Yeah, I couldn't get it to work at first either, but you need to start the jump quite far from the fence... like the guy said above 2m away, maybe more lol... but it has some rang one it man!

It has a lot of use once you know how to use it, can really lose the zeds if you can find some fences, also do some silly parkor stuff, but w/e

It seemed to only work for me if you have a two-handed weapon.

Also, all you need is to press is v.

I love the roll. Seems to me like the chara slows down to wander over the fence, with the roll, if you time it right, you jump over the fence, pop up and keep on runnin.

What DOESNT make sense are zombies going through everything like ghosts.

You can do some cool things with the combat roll, you just have to try some things with it and it can look cool. I dont know how much it will be used for combat but if someone does manage to dodge something like an RPG with a combat roll they will get all my beans.
