Add Bears?

It would be kinda cool if bears were in the game, it'd add more fear and PVE.

We have bear traps, so logically... bears must be about right?

No, requires new animations, so I think that won't be done in the nearby future, not mentioning the mod...

I think the suggestions are a bit useless now, the devs are working on something else ATM.

You're cleverer than the average mod...

I think bears whilst a nice idea should be way down on the priority list. They would be rare (if we are giving a nod to realism) so the amount of work vs experience may not be worth it at this time.

If someone has the time and means to animate one, all the power to ya. If you expect BIS art department to handle it, let them worry about other things first.

Depending on how long it's been since most of the people were wiped out, bears (and other wildlife) might be a more common sight.

It'd be nice to know they're out there somewhere.

Just imagine, you're satified that your camp is secure from zeds and hidden from bandits. One bear could make the whole party go tits-up.

Wolves would also be cool, but I don't think wolf-packs would stalk people.

As for MoCapping.

I reckon we take a laptop, external Harddrive, some sellotape, ping pong balls and a Kinect unit up into bear country for a couple of days.

wolves are indirectly bred to fear humans. so they are not clever like that: we made a clever decision for them.
