DayZ dreamscene (animated wallpaper)

Recommended Posts

Hi guys.

Since a week I´m playing DayZ and it actually makes a lot of fun.

Also I´m very pleased that the mod get so much support from many peoples and well-known companies.

I would like to thank for this great mod also, so I´ve create a little dreamscene (video for desktop background) for it.

Its work in progress for the moment so its not perfect and may developed multiple times in the future.

Preview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rJXN_qch8s

The video is created as a windows-media-video (.wmv) with widescreen resolution on 1920*1080px

Download of Dreamscene activator (for Win7): http://bit.ly/u45Nbz

Best regards from Germany

That's incredibly awesome can i ask how you managed to make it?

Reminds me a lot of the L4D start menu, and the zombies animations look similar as well

Thanks.

Of course, I´ve create the main part with Adobe After Effects and a little bit of post processing in Sony Vegas.

The zombies are captured via greenscreen-map from L4D2 and paste in with Keylight and colorized black ;)

Maybe I can record some zombies from DayZ or find some other stock footage in a later progress.

Thanks again.

Like I said its just work-in-progress so it will become a bit more better during the next days. Because im not 100 percent satisfied with the transition of the loop.

Knew they were the L4D zombies! i've watched the menu over and over again waiting for friends to create a lobby

Yes, this is extremely awesome.

And knowing you aren't satisfied with it yet, even better, make it as awesome as you feel it should be man :D

It isn't a bad idea, but your backpack or skin would give you away in about .2 seconds.

Edit, "that comment doesnt make any sense." indeed it dosnt. Posting in several different threads at one ftl.
