AVG threat detected dayzcommander.exe

Recommended Posts

Have just tried updating to the new 1.5.7.1

Also updated dayz commander.

Managed to play on an official server, after a load of dickhead hackers started teleporting and controlling me I quit to find my AVG was warning me that battleye needed sending to the vault. I clicked ok and then re installed dayz commander only to be stopped by AVG again, this time saying dayzcommander.exe needs to go the vault.

I haven't clicked yes or no yet. But I guess I could do a fresh install. If anyone else has had this or knows whether this is just an AVG mistake. Never really know with these things.

It is because it is an exe. Your avg setting must be set quite high!

Just tell avg that its a trusted exe same with the BEClient.dll =)

open avg

Options > virus vault

right click the "virus" flag for the dayz directory and hit "restore".

I assume the directory itself is locked by AVG when it is flagged as a trojan, this is what I had to do to regain access to the directory.
