Shadow Man 142 Posted February 9, 2013 Have just tried updating to the new 1.5.7.1Also updated dayz commander.Managed to play on an official server, after a load of dickhead hackers started teleporting and controlling me I quit to find my AVG was warning me that battleye needed sending to the vault. I clicked ok and then re installed dayz commander only to be stopped by AVG again, this time saying dayzcommander.exe needs to go the vault.I haven't clicked yes or no yet. But I guess I could do a fresh install. If anyone else has had this or knows whether this is just an AVG mistake. Never really know with these things. Magermayn 35 Posted February 9, 2013 I havent tried that myeself but it might just be your avg thats bugging a bit over dayz commander
fully 51 Posted February 9, 2013 It is because it is an exe. Your avg setting must be set quite high!Just tell avg that its a trusted exe same with the BEClient.dll =)
excelseeore 2 Posted February 19, 2013 When I try to install DayZ Commander becouse I uninstalled it becouse both AVG and BE gave me problems I get a message that says: Error writing to file: C:\Program Files (x86)\ Dotjosh Studios\DayZCommander\Current\DayZCommander.exe. Verify that you have access to that directoryPlease help I miss DayZ :P
fathairybeast 246 Posted February 19, 2013 open avgOptions > virus vaultright click the "virus" flag for the dayz directory and hit "restore".I assume the directory itself is locked by AVG when it is flagged as a trojan, this is what I had to do to regain access to the directory.
