Hackers advertising in game?

Hi guys just been playing Origins on the UK001 server, I was in a building looting and the bottom of my screen was taken up by a banner advertising a Hacking program saying if you are interested add this Andrey guy on skype? well anyways my screen went black and I couldn't see a thing so i logged (When i logged back in I was outside the building bleeding).

My question is this known about or new?

Skype is a risky program to use, especially when contacting a random person. I think if you have anything less than windows 7, there's a "backdoor" bug with Skype that let's them download any files they want onto your computer and any twelve year old can go buy a rat program and screw you over.

Night before last I was playing on a server, and I went to check the map... some hacker had put up red global text near the NWAF that read something like "These Battleye bypasses will work for your hacks: http:///tinyurl blah blah blah"

Sorry I must have been a little vague, I didn't contact this guy his add popped up in game.

What I mean to ask is if its common or not for hackers to advertise in this manner as I don't really play that often.

Hackers have been advertising for over 6 months in this game, pretty much for as long as hackers have been running rampant in game.

Back when people thunderdoming happened on every server, they used to advertise a hack website on your screen as you entered the dome.

I've noticed the last few days that the origins' servers have been having issues. might be a security hole somewhere

There was a server I played where the admin was using these banners to give players updates on what was happening in the server. My favorite one was BREAKING NEWS about to ban some real stupid hackers.

Anyone stupid enough to contact these......humans... really deserve what they get.

I fail to see how advertising on a server you are ruining for other players is a great marketing ploy. But then again there are some silly folk out there.

All these new ways to contact people are mental, I love tech and all but some like FB are just inviting abuse.
